Sunday School

St. Aidan’s offers Sunday School for children whose families attend the 10:00 service on Sundays. Classes take place during the first half of the service, and all are invited to receive Communion together with the wider assembly. Each teacher takes a month at a time so that the children have some sense of continuity while keeping the scheduling simple. Our classes are small, but we enjoy interacting with the children.

We believe that it is important for children not only to learn the stories of our tradition,  but also to be part of a larger Christian community, including adults who care about them and want to spend time with them.

Child care is also available for preverbal children, and there is a children’s corner in the sanctuary for families who want to be part of the worshiping community without being separated.
